PND Culture Movies Reflections

1. Upload your movie to your blog or embed it from YouTube.

Earlier you had the opportunity to grade your teammates on the storyboard portion of this project. Now you will be examining your own performance as a team member.

2. Remember to copy and paste the questions into your blog as you answer them.
Answer the following questions about yourself:

A. To what degree did you work toward team goals? (Please explain your answer)
Superior, Excellent, Very Good, Good, Fair, Needs Improvement
I think I did a good portion of the project because I helped get videos, photos and did recordings with Sarah. I would rate myself as very good or good.

B. What specific tasks and duties did you perform as a member of this team?
I helped get footage, recording with Sarah, and I also got videos from other students and teachers.

C. To what degree did you offer your gifts, talents, and time as a member of the team?
(Please explain your answer)
Superior, Excellent, Very Good, Good, Fair, Needs Improvement
During my advisory I would go around and ask people for interview. Also Mackenzie, Jordan, and I went around the school taking photos. So I would rate my self as very good or good.

D. To what degree did you take action as a member of the team?
(Please explain your answer)
Leader, Very Active, Somewhat Active, Had to Be Told What to Do
Well when I was siting there in the group I asked Sarah what else she needed done. So I guess I was somewhat active.

E. What makes you most proud about your movie and why?
I was happy about the project because if I was an incoming freshman I would be really excited to be part of this school and traditions. I also learned a lot about this school that I didn't know before.

F. If you were going to make any changes to your movie, what would they be?

If I could have changed one thing about the movie it would have to be it needed more humor and smiles. A lot of the interviews were bland and boring.

1. Upload your slideshow as a movie to your blog posting. [If you have trouble with this, check to see that you exported it in the correct format. If it is still too big, re-export in a smaller format. You may also choose to upload it to YouTube and embed it on your blog.]

2. What tools and techniques did you use to create your podcast?
In this project I used many editing tools such as blur tool and the retouch button. I also had to change some of the colors in the pictures.

3.  How could you use a project like this in other classes?
I could use this in other classes by explaining history, religion, and even Physical Education.

4.  In the “real world,” how could podcast projects be used (In what careers/businesses, etc.)?
By explaining the set up of a building and how the building will work.
5.  In this project, what did you get good at doing?

6. What was the most difficult part of the assignment?

Recording my voice and timing. Putting the whole thing together so it worked and flowed.
7. How did your project use the transformative property of borrowed images, music, and information to comply with the Copyright Law of 1976?
[...not just that you cited the information - citing is not enough...tell me how you transformed what you've taken into something new, etc., Howdid you transform the music, information, images, etc.?
I used photos and music, but I used it an a judgement case.

8.  Would you do a project like this on your own?
I would do it on iMovie because I can do it already

9. If you were going to make any changes/improvements on your podcast what would it/they be?  ...and why?
I would make the audio work, and not repeat itself.
